Clutch Purse with Antique Pin Closure

September 19, 2009

I finally got around to sewing (and finishing) an Amy Butler clutch. Yippie!!!

It wasn’t nearly as difficult as I thought it would be. Of course, this is in comparison to the other zipper clutch that I’ve tried to sew twice and failed.

Anyway, this clutch was unbelievably simple to create and required only a few hours to do. If you’re going to try it, I’d suggest taking your time when cutting out the fabric. The clutch has a lot of curves and it’s well worth cutting it correctly before stitching it.

I’ll add some pictures tomorrow as my camera is out of juice and so am I.

Good night!
